Hourly Childcare

Calvary Hourly Childcare provides flexible scheduling - attend several days a week, once a week, or on an as needed basis. We operate for nine months a year - September to May - and are open Tuesday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. We have classrooms for toddlers (16-33 months) & preschoolers (33 months - Kindergarten). Please see our calendar for more details on closure dates for holidays and teacher workshops. Many families combine the Hourly Childcare & Pre-Kindergarten - a nice option for the parent who works part time & needs a little extra childcare coverage. Calvary Hourly Childcare is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services Licensing Division.

OUR CURRICULUM

A play-based customized schedule and curriculum is offered for each age group:

  • Toddlers (16 months through 33 months). Your toddler will experience an atmosphere where he/she feels safe and secure and also develops independence and social competence.
  • Preschoolers (33 months to Kindergarten). Your preschooler will discover something new each day with the guidance of our experienced teachers. We focus on the emotional, social, cognitive, physical & spiritual growth of the individual child.

    ENROLLMENT

    Please review the following information carefully to ensure that your child is properly registered for Calvary Hourly Childcare and to determine the applicable rates. We offer two reservation options: permanent and on-call. You may reserve from a one-hour minimum to the full day, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

    Reservation Options
    • Permanent - You may reserve the same day(s) and time slot(s) each week.
    • On-call - We also accommodate on-call reservations for both toddlers and preschoolers. Reservations are required and may be made up to two weeks in advance.
    Rates

    Our rates for the 2024-2025 school year are:

    Toddler (16 months to 33 months): $15/hour
    Preschooler (33 months to Kindergarten): $14/hour

    Fees

    $80 Annual Non-Refundable Enrollment Fee
    $50 Annual Non-Refundable Snack Fee
